As head trainer at Da Factory, a CrossFit training facility located in Doral, Florida, Ronny Lindsay believes every one of his athletes can become the “well balanced man”— a physically, mentally and spiritually balanced person. A lifelong sports
enthusiast, Ronny is trained in Tae Kwon Do, football, rugby and basketball (among others), and knows firsthand what it is like to train to achieve results.
Ronny has trained many people for different reasons—from sports training, to weight loss to overall fitness—and helps athletes attain a healthier lifestyle without the ignorance sometimes associated with sports training.
Ronny’s experience as a trainer began when he himself was being instructed by a strength and conditioning coach who taught him the fundamentals of nutrition, plyometrics, strength training and conditioning, weight management and sports performance. His experience inspired him to train the 2006 Flag Football National Champions and to run his own boot camp.
Ronny has a bachelor of science in civil engineering specializing in structural engineering from Florida International University as well as CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CrossFit Football, USAW Level 1 Sports Performance and Combine 360 certifications.

As a past football player in high school and college, Ernie looked for a sport that would fulfill his need for competition when he could no longer play football. CrossFit has afforded him the ability to not only supplement healthy habits, but also, as he puts it, “making you feel like a super human because of something you just did that you had never imagined doing before CrossFitting.”
Ernie holds a bachelors degree in business administration and finance, and enjoys spending time with his wife (also an avid CrossFitter) and daughter and trying to make himself and everyone around him a better moving human being.

Roberto has been an active person his entire life playing various sports and a regular at the gym. He has been CrossFitting since the first day Da Factory – Training Facility opened its doors. As a professional Roberto works as an engineer and his love for CrossFit and teaching others drives him to devote his free time to be a trainer. Roberto has always had a passion for teaching and helping others and as he puts it “All our trainers are not here as a means for money but rather as a passion”.
Degrees: Robert has a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Florida
International University and is a certified Florida Professional Engineer (PE).

Michael, also known as “Magic Mike,” has been an enthusiast of the fitness lifestyle since he was old enough to pick up dumbbells and train. He started off as what is known to some as a ‘gym rat,’ – always hitting the iron for hours and multiple sessions a day. His love for weightlifting and his competitive spirit has carried him into our facility. Upon starting a CrossFit training regimen, he found a profound love for this new type of training he had encountered. It was then when he realized what his future fitness and professional goals were.
Now Coach Michael has the inspiration and ambition of helping others in their short and long term fitness goals. He has been certified as a Level 1 trainer, looking to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, in order to become a strength and conditioning coach in the near future.
